I love cats, unfortunately my husband doesn't, so to keep us both happy Kuroneko is my substitute.

The first thing I remember about sewing is my beloved Nana making me a little pinafore dress, with an embroidered collar, for my first day of school.

My Nana then taught me to sew and I have been sewing ever since.

I inherited her old sewing machine but last year I put it into retirement and bought a new one and, although I hate to say it, the new machine is easier to use (sorry Nana).

I have a renewed enthusiasm to use some of my squirrelled away fabric and buy more of course!

I get inspired by colour and like using different patterns and textures.
